Our Goal is to enhance student's science education with technology.
The chemistry and physics teachers at North Eugene High School are asking for your help to enhance our students’ science education by upgrading vital lab equipment.
North Eugene offers higher-level science courses that include chemistry, AP chemistry, and introductory as well as college-level physics. These rigorous courses train nearly 330 students each year—preparing them well for their college science courses.
Our chemistry and physics courses make frequent use of electronic measurement tools to measure pH, temperature, pressure, forces, etc. Sadly, our probes are at least twenty years old, are malfunctioning, and can no longer be supported with upgrades.
Imagine the excitement that students experience when they see a graph representing their data change while it is being gathered, and imagine their learning and successes as they record, manipulate and analyze that data. Our students simply find learning more exciting and engaging when working with these tools!
